Berry Nice Brisket

 

Berry Nice Brisket

 



 

1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 can (14-1/2 ounces) beef broth
1 cupful cranberry juice
1 can (16 ounces) whole-berry cranberry sauce
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 large onion, thinly sliced
1 tablesp minced fresh rosemary
1 fresh beef brisket (3-4 pounds)
1/4 teasp black pepper
1/2 teasp salt

Combine the flour & broth until smooth in a bowl. Stir in the cranberry sauce, cranberry juice, garlic & rosemary. Pour into a roasting pan. Add onion slices. Add salt & pepper to brisket; place fat side up in he pan. Cover & bake at 350 Degrees for approximately 31/2 hours (till meat is tender), basting occasionally. Place brisket in a serving platter & let stand for about 15 mins. Thinly slice meat across the grain; serve Berry Nice Brisket with onion & pan juices. Good Luck!
